oakley airwave goggle... gear check! shred em!

After long wait, and months after Smith hinted at its I/O Recon Goggles, Oakley comes out with its Airwave Goggle. Arriving in time for the holidays — not to mention the snowboarding/skiing season — the Oakley Airwave makes use of the latest HUD technology from Recon Instrument — giving riders an in-depth reading of information including distance, airtime, temperature, speed and altitude. The goggles will also be able to connect to mobile devices via Bluetooth, showing incoming calls and text messages — while at the same time, allowing full control over the device’s music player. As this technology is still rather new to the market, the price is set at a considerable amount, retailing for £499.95 GBP (approximately $800 USD). Just in time for the shred carnival... ill out kids... kc
